Overhead Control Panel Disassemble-Help

in a vehicle with the moonroof i want to get at the overhead control panel. this panel has the led lights and controls for the moonroof and rear window plus the sunglass holder. i assume the trim ring pops out some how and the control mount block can be lowered. has anyone figured out how to get this apart ?

Just saw this and it's been awhile, so you might have probably figured it out. But if you have a very thin pry tool, that center console unclips out completely (screwless). Maybe later today I can shoot a pic (if I remember).

You'll get it, it is pretty easy. It sounds like you are only interested in pulling the electronics module, and that is the part that is screwless, you just use a very thin pry-tool along the module's seam (not the headliner & ring.
